SUDAN
In October 2020, the government of Sudan introduced a new trade measure called the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN). The ECTN is an electronic system that tracks the movement of cargo in and out of Sudan. The ECTN/BSC replaces the paper-based system that was previously in place. ECTN/BSC is a mandatory loading document for all shipments to South Sudan.
You can quickly prepare the required ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) paperwork for Sudan with Seanautic Marine. Local customs will ban shipments with an invalid ECTN.
Every shipment with Sudan as its final destination needs to be covered by a ECTN. To prevent any difficulties or penalties when clearing the products at destination, shippers and forwarders are urged to adhere to the official authorities' prescribed method.
