SENEGAL
The ECTN is a document which is required for all shipments of cargo to Senegal. It is obtained from the shipping company and must be presented to Senegalese customs upon arrival of the shipment. It is important to note that the ECTN is not required for shipments of personal effects. If you are shipping cargo to Senegal, you will need to obtain an ECTN (E-Certificate of Territorial Coverage).
You can quickly prepare the required ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) paperwork for Senegal with Seanautic Marine. Local customs will ban shipments with an invalid ECTN.
Every shipment having Dakar as its final destination has to be protected by an ECTN or BESC. To prevent any difficulties or penalties when clearing the products at destination, shippers and forwarders are urged to adhere to the official authorities' prescribed method.
