CAMEROON
The Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN)/BESC is a document which is now mandatory for all shipments of cargo departing from the port of Douala, Cameroon. The ECTN/BESC replaces the paper-based Bill of Lading and is a requirement of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
You can quickly prepare the required ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) paperwork for Cameroon with Seanautic Marine. Local customs will ban shipments with an invalid ECTN/BESC.
Every shipment having Douala, as its final destination needs to be protected by an E-CTN, also known as a BESC. To prevent any difficulties or penalties when clearing the products at destination, shippers and forwarders are urged to adhere to the official authorities' prescribed method.
