TOGO

The ECTN is a document that is required for all shipments of goods from the Republic of Togo destined for the European Union (EU). The ECTN replaces the requirement for an export license for all shipments to the EU from Togo and is used by Customs in the EU to control the import of goods from Togo.

The ECTN must be obtained from the Togolese customs authority, ANE, prior to shipment and must be presented to the shipping company when the goods are exported from Togo.

The ECTN is valid for one year from the date of issue and can be used for multiple shipments of goods during that period. If you are exporting goods from Togo to the EU, you will need to obtain an ECTN prior to shipment.

According to the Official website of the Togolese Republic, an exporter must request an ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) from the Chamber of Commerce before shipping their goods. The ECTN is obtained from the Port Authorities.

The ECTN is an identification number that is tracking the movement of the shipment from the port of loading to the port of destination. This information is used by the customs authorities to streamline the customs clearance process.

The ECTN must be obtained prior to shipment and must be included on the Bill of Lading. If you are shipping goods to Togo, you will need to obtain an ECTN prior to shipment. You can obtain the ECTN from the Togolese Chamber of Commerce or from the Port Authorities.
