The ECTN is a document that is required for all shipments of goods from the Republic of Togo destined for the European Union (EU). The ECTN replaces the requirement for an export licence for all shipments to the EU from Togo and is used by Customs in the EU to control the import of goods from Togo. The ECTN must be obtained from the Togolese customs authority, ANE, prior to shipment and must be presented to the shipping company when the goods are exported from Togo.
You can quickly prepare the required ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) paperwork for Togo with Seanautic Marine. Local customs will not release shipments with an invalid ECTN.
An ECTN ought to be provided for each shipment. To prevent any difficulties or fines when clearing the products at destination, shippers and forwarders are urged to adhere to the rules established by the governmental authorities.
