Need to ship cargo to Burkina Faso? It has never been easier until this time. Seanautic Marine Inc will help you acquire the ECTN Burkina Faso (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note) required for the safe shipping of the cargo to Burkina Faso.

ECTN was created to make shipping more reliable, open, and productive. Every package that enters Burkina Faso is given a special number. The cargo's journey from its point of origin to its final destination can be traced and tracked using the ECTN.

The cargo could be delayed or subject to additional fees if the ECTN is not provided at the border. This is the reason we work for you and help you throughout the process of attaining the same.

Every importer in Burkina Faso must obtain an Etiquette de Cote (ECTN) prior to shipping their products into the country. The ECTN is a document that certifies that the products being shipped have been inspected and meet all the necessary requirements for importation. To obtain an ECTN, the importer must first submit a request to the Directorate General of Customs.

    This request must include:
    • A copy of the commercial invoice
    • A copy of the bill of lading or airway bill
    • A description of the products being shipped
    • The value of the shipment
    • The HS code of the products Once the request is received, the Directorate General of Customs will issue a provisional ECTN. This provisional ECTN is valid for 10 days and allows the importer to make changes to the request if necessary. Once the 10 days have passed, the Directorate General of Customs will issue the final ECTN. This ECTN is valid for 6 months and must be presented to the customs authority at the port of entry when the shipment arrives.
